Wow, that is quite a story there Marco. I am glad that you are ok. I have had that flutter myself and felt like I was going to pass out. I was having BP problems as well. Luckily I never actually passed out. I hope you stay healthy for many years to come... I know that must have been quite a scare.

Your story reminded me of why I love SL so much. In SL we are all equals... no matter the race/age/ability... SL gives so many people an outlet of creativity, and others just a chance to escape the drudges of RL. I did not know of your disability before today (kind of an old follower who just recently tuned in on a regular basis) anyway, I have known many people/friends in SL over the years that have found freedoms in SL that they don't or can't get in RL... and I appreciate SL sooo much for giving all of us such wonderful opportunities and outlets. Kudos to you! Love your writing and humor!

One of my favorite anecdotes in that regard concern a fellow I will call Bill. This fellow Bill, is quite interesting. In SL he cuts quite a dashing figure... an elegant visigoth prince, he is the epitome of the Errol Flynn type swashbuckling hero. With his handy rapier he slices and dices his way through the bad guys. He boards pirate ships in sl, knife in his teeth, hands grasping ropes as he swings aboard their ships at sea from his own vessel. Quite the heroic figure. Even more interesting is that he does all this with his mouth.

Yes, his mouth. Because in REAL life the only way he can move or type is by manipulating a "blow pipe" with his lips.
He is a total quadriplegic in real life. True story.

Isn't SL amazing?
